Tree Climbers
Ropework, rigging, and the top of the tree.
- Climbing experience required
- ISA / TCIA climber credential a plus — not required
- First aid / CPR a plus — we certify you
About the role
You're the one who goes up. Working from ropes and saddle, you take down and trim the trees a bucket can't reach — tight backyards, big removals, storm-damaged wood across Mid-Michigan.
What you'll do
- Set climbing lines and rig limbs for controlled lowering
- Make precision cuts in the canopy and run a saw safely aloft
- Work rope signals and rigging with the ground crew
- Inspect your gear before every climb
A typical day
Meet the crew at the Saginaw yard, load out, and run one to three job sites — removals, trims and storm work — then back to the yard.
What we provide
- Technique coaching, all rigging hardware and PPE
- Support earning ISA / TCIA and first aid / CPR if you want them
Competitive pay — discussed at interview.
